My Soul kept on saying I just wanna do me.

And I knew it was true.

But somehow I resisted it. 

I didn’t believe it could be that easy.

I didn’t think it could be abundant.

I didn’t think it was enough.

You know, the “good girl” that’s gotta please…

The moment she starts to please and receives the feedback

– because she is so gifted –

it becomes never enough for THEM. They always want more out of HER. They have standards for HER. So she conforms. MORE. 

The PERFECT nest to form a rebellious Soul here to transform the world her own WAY. 

Only she didn’t know what was in the making as the pressure was building up inside of her. She didn’t know that underneath the resentment was a sovereign leader and pioneer in the making.

What happened is that somewhere along the path, she forgot her true standards. So she was reMINDed.

The Goddess said

I made you good.

Good enough girl.

Just do your thing.

And you’ll see things will work out fine.

Mighty fine.

And others are gonna come to you

and ask you how you did it.

And you’ll say:

I did it for me first.

It was good enough for me.

It was to my liking.

Your like was a bonus.

And you’ll continue:

I write for me.

I speak for me.

I play for me. 

And my mamma,

she is turning in her grave

cuz that ain’t how she raised me.

But the Goddess replied

Hand me over your mamma,

I’ll deal with her.

Just do YOU.

Your WAY.

That’s how I made you.

Initially I wasn’t ready to believe it.

It sounded too easy.

And I kept doing what I thought others expected of me. And one day, it got too painful to be so far away from my joy, from my playfulness, from my magik… I couldn’t take it anymore. And I started doing life MY WAY. RELENTLESSLY. DELUSIONALLY DEVOTED TO DO THINGS MY WAY.

My life got from beige to colorful again.  (I no longer needed to fix grammar mistakes, I knew you understood if you were meant to read…)

Don’t fear your PEOPLE PLEASING abilities.

Thank them for the UNTAMABLE BEAST they revealed.

She is wildly AWAITED in the world. It’s time to let her out. 

It’s time to do you. Your way.
